According to Itamaraty's website:
"Carriers of the Brazilian passport are exempt from visas to travel tourism to more than 150 countries in the world. This does not mean, however, that requirements should not be met for entry into other countries. Hosting certificates, travel vouchers, invitation letters and return tickets to Brazil may be (and often are) required by foreign authorities for entry into other countries. Please enquire carefully, before travelling, of the documentation required to enter the chosen destination. Upon arriving in the country, submit all documents to the border authorities.
In addition to the destination chosen for the trip, it is also necessary to observe the possible visa requirement in transit countries. Although the final destination does not require visas from Brazilian citizens, it is possible that the country of transit, if any, requests some special type of visa. Please inform yourself in advance of this need ".
